Director of Sport

We are looking for an experienced, diligent and aspirational leader of sport who will implement and deliver the school’s strategic plan for sport.

This role is a permanent full time position which is Grade 6 on the Support Staff in Schools Collective Agreement.

The Director of Sport will have experience with, or knowledge of; 

• Leadership
• Programme and Athlete Development
• Marketing and Promotion
• Developing Community Relationships
• Budget and Finance
• Administration

The ideal candidate will have;

• A degree in sports management or development and/or a minimum of 5 years experience in sports development/management
• The ability to work with a range of stakeholders, including teenagers
• Ability to build and maintain sound, professional and effective relationships with a range of people
• Ability to deliver a strategic plan and achieve annual goals while effectively managing day to day demands of a busy and growing sports programme
