Special Assessment Conditions (SAC) Support Role
We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented SAC Admin Support person to join our Student Learning Services team. This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth operation of Special Assessment Conditions (SAC), providing essential administrative support to our SAC Coordinator and students during critical exam and assessment periods.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage room bookings and prepare exam materials for SAC students.
- Act as a key point of contact for parents, students, and reader/writers to ensure everyone is in the right location at the right time.
- Support the Exam Centre Manager and Principal's Nominee with troubleshooting and processing feedback during NZQA and junior assessment periods.
Requirements:
- High level of competency with Google Suite (especially Spreadsheets). Familiarity with Kamar is a preference but not essential.
- Exceptional ability to manage systems, processes, and paperwork with a high degree of accuracy and confidentiality.
- Ability to build positive relationships with staff and students while working calmly under pressure
- A proactive approach and the ability to adapt to the changing needs of the exam period.
This is a casual position designed to provide support leading up to and during busy assessment windows. You will report directly to the HOLA of Student Learning Services and the SAC Coordinator.
Applicants must hold valid working rights in New Zealand. The pay rate will be as per the Support Staff in Schools' Collective Agreement Administration Pay Scale at Grade 2, Step 4, $29.55 per hour.
